Boost Horsepower, Torque, and Fuel Efficiency with Flashark Exhaust Headers
Upgrading your Jeep Wrangler TJ with FLASHARK Exhaust Headers is an excellent way to boost both horsepower and torque, improving overall engine performance. By replacing the factory exhaust manifold with high-performance headers, you reduce back pressure and enhance exhaust flow, allowing your engine to breathe easier. This results in improved combustion, quicker acceleration, and better power delivery. In fact, installing FLASHARK Exhaust Headers can add up to 5-10 horsepower and increased torque.
Not only will you feel the difference in performance, but you’ll also notice a more aggressive exhaust sound, giving your Jeep that signature muscle car roar.
Professional installation is highly recommended, exhaust systems are not always perfect, and while most of the time these exhaust systems work perfectly together, occasionally a slight modification to the exhaust system is required to achieve a perfect fit.
The structural differences between exhaust headers and manifolds are the material and size. From the material, exhaust headers are made of lighter, thinner steel, while exhaust manifolds are made of thick iron. Exhaust headers are also longer than exhaust manifolds. When in use, exhaust manifolds create back pressure, which lowers performance. Because each cylinder of the engine is given its own tube, however, headers eliminate this problem; thus, allowing the gases to exit without the creation of back pressure. Therefore, exhaust headers are a BETTER choice than an exhaust manifold.
