An oil catch can is designed to capture excess oil and contaminants that escape past the engine's piston seals and enter the crankcase. While oil is essential for lubrication, some inevitably result in blow-by. The catch can prevent this blow-by from re-entering the engine's air intake, protecting engine performance.

Are oil catch cans bad for your car?
Oil catch cans are simple devices that greatly benefit direct injection engines. The oil catch cans prevent oil and other contaminants from causing a buildup of debris inside the engine's intake manifold
How Does an Oil Catch Work?
An oil catch can intercept and capture oil vapor and contaminants before they reach the engine's intake. Connected to the engine's ventilation system, it slows and redirects gases, allowing heavier oil particles to condense and collect at the bottom. This prevents oil from reentering the intake, protecting engine performance and extending its lifespan.
